Not much to it, but lots of fun nevertheless. My inner child is giggling and wants to read it again and again, even though adult me is almost bored after just a couple of reads. "A...mazzzz...ing." Oh, and I want a great big coat and donuts now, too.
A boy named Scott wears an oversized winter coat out for the day, prompting people to believe that the coat has come alive on its own. This is a cute story, with not much underlying meaning. It is purely a bit of fun about a boy walking around in a giant coat, and the way people react to him.The illustrations by Tomie De Paola really add a warm feel to the story.
This story is light hearted and funny and a good book to spice up a collection with since it is not serious and will add variety.
A silly story about a boy wearing a coat that is too big for him around town.
