Useful collection including of some of the less well-known early Tudor interludes, plus some of Lydgate's earlier mummings in an appendix. The plays are: Mankind, Fulgens and Lucres, Conversion of St. Paul. Bale's Temptation of Our Lord, Nice Wanton, Merbury's Marriage of Wit and Wisdom, and in the appendix Interlude of the Student and the Girl and Lydgate's Mummings at Hertford and Bishopwood.
For an introduction to a histor of the theatre this is a must read !
