Clarkson was a Gestalt practitioner for over 30 years, and it really shows in this straight-forward, jargon-free introductory text. Cleverly structured around the Gestalt cycle, she guides the reader through each phase with clarity, wit and illuminating example. Made the subject come to life for me, and has given me a great base for further, more technical study. Excellent.
An interesting look at events and meetings of ideas. William James meets Freud and Jung With Stanley Hall as host, the readings and presentations were orchestrated to coincide with James; arrival.Jung was being allowed on the shirt-tails of his mentor Sigmund.
