Aging bio, still probably the best extant
Purchased to complete the "triumvirate" of biographies on Thach, Flatley and O'Hare. As a native of Chicago, I'd grownup hearing the various stories about the O'Hare family both about his father and his loss.
This volume fills in some details and is probably the most well-researched account available.

Good Read
I enjoyed this book immensely. I found the comments on his leadership interesting as I had brief visit with his son for Captains Mast. He was very fair with his punishment. He must have learned that from his father.

I enjoyed this book immensely. As a former "occasional" TF34 mech I had no idea he had that much influence on the S-3 and ASW in general.
