The Thirty-seventh North Carolina Troops: Tar Heels in the Army of Northern Virginia by Michael C. Hardy
Solid regimental history of a North Carolina Infantry regiment during the Civil War. Also some good biographical information on the soldiers who served in the regiment, and some post-war events in their lives.
Accounts from newspapers, mostly post war, about individuals and regiments at the battle of Gettysburg. Many are good human interest stories.
