National Geographic books are very good for young children to learn about science. I remember when I was younger and I would read national geographic books about science and they were very interesting and informational. This author has many scientific books for young children to learn and read.

I like National Geographic magazines growing up , and I think they are still around today. I like that they explain simple thing’s about mostly science and social science which I think they are really good at. This is more for older kids probably 3rd grade and up.

Wonderful nonfiction book and great topic. Most children know about hibernation but not estivation. I love books that get young readers excited about the natural world and that give them glimpses of wildlife they may not see in their own environments.
