Anna Anderson (1896?-1984) was the best known of several imposters who claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia Nicholaevna, daughter of the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia. Eventually, DNA tests proved conclusively that she was not related to the Imperial family.
