Character description

Born 23 September 63 BCE, reigned as first emperor of the Roman Empire from 16 January 27 BCE until his death on 19 August 14 AD. (Technically he called himself Princeps Civitatus, first citizen of the state, as well as Augustus, these being titles conferred upon him by the Senate in 27 BCE.)

Born Gaius Octavius (also rendered as Caius Octavius), sometimes referred to as Octavian.
