- First version illustrated by Kurt Wiese, published in the 1950s and revised in the 1960s. The covers are glowing with color and interest from Wiese's able hand. In the mid or later 1960s, the entire series was reissued with very bland photo collage covers in dreary colors. This series page was to be just for the books with covers and interior illustrated by Wiese, but I see it's getting taken over by newer editions that are likely not illustrated by him. Also known as the Know Your States Series. (English, Unclassified)
