- Sister Agnes is a nun and an amateur sleuth. Most of the books in the series are set in and around London. Joffe Books is reissuing many of the books in the series in Kindle format with new titles, but the indicated numbers don't match those of the original 9 books, published (mostly) by Headline Books, then Allison & Busby. I've referred to Fantastic Fiction, Joffe and Amazon to match original and new titles
