Not sure if we've had a game thread like this, but I've been thinking about it for a while. I thought it would be a good way to get to know some different books we haven't seen before.
This game goes like any other ABC game. Post a book that begins with the next letter in the sequence (and it would be great if it was touchstoned, but not required).
I'll begin:
A Countess Below Stairs

Quid est Veritas? Veritas Honderd (sic)*
by Schaf, (sic)
LT says this book is listed by one (unnamed) member; I donʻt even know what language it is in?
The first 3 words = "What is truth?" The 4th and 5th words = "Truth Hundred" (Latin, switching to Dutch). But it does provide the Q as 1st letter. Yes, the author statement gives no forename and does follow the surname(?) with a comma.
