Adding BVB = Bibliotheksverbund Bayern = OPAC of Bavarian Libraries as book source

I am not able to import datas from other book sources.

What are the requirements to add a new book source?

The Bavarian catalog of 23 million records is actually available under a open data Creative Commons License CC0 in MARC-XML for download. Additions are placed into a special repository for easy updating.

Please add it to Overcat.

Ah, so not really adding a new source so much as a new feed into Overcat. That'd be pretty nifty.

I do wish they'd publish it as MARC, not as that batshit-crazy format MARC-XML. That'll require more work, alas. I'll ask Chris to look at it.

Until we get an Austria source and/or Südwestdeutscher Bibliotheksverbund SWB working again, this would give me much better chances of finding my German language books. The northern libraries have different tastes.
