Hi!
An author of my hometown ( The Treasure of Nagyszentmiklós or Treasure of Sânnicolau Mare is an ... http://en.wikipedia.org/?curid=10373190# ) published a lot.

I am not able to import datas from other book sources.
What are the requirements to add a new book source?
Kind regards Reinhardt

The Bavarian catalog of 23 million records is actually available under a open data Creative Commons License CC0 in MARC-XML for download. Additions are placed into a special repository for easy updating.
Please add it to Overcat.

Ah, so not really adding a new source so much as a new feed into Overcat. That'd be pretty nifty.

Thanks for the heads-up.
I do wish they'd publish it as MARC, not as that batshit-crazy format MARC-XML. That'll require more work, alas. I'll ask Chris to look at it.

Until we get an Austria source and/or Südwestdeutscher Bibliotheksverbund SWB working again, this would give me much better chances of finding my German language books. The northern libraries have different tastes.

> 5: Maybe because in Bavaria some guy named Marc is an extra marital lover?
Getting flippant, signing off before I really go too far.

OH, please don't sign off. This was just getting interesting. I wasn't understanding this before, but your explanation is much more down to earth. Something I can understand.
