Looks good!

What an exciting line up! Whoo hoo!!!

I might switch November and December. December's book could be a bit of a downer for the season, and November's book is appropriately an easy quick, and fun read. Up to you of course, but Maus is probably a good book to read when there is sunshine outside.

I'll switch the nonfiction books between December and August.

To add to maggie1944's suggestion, The Nine Tailors actually begins on New Year's Eve, so would be very suitable for December.

I'll probably be in for 4 or 5 of the books. There's a nice variety.

ETA: Oops, I guess I was typing at the same time as Morphy.

I certainly will try to join in as much as I can. I see 5 books for sure that I'd like to read this coming year.

Good suggestions. I'd like to second the idea of reading The Nine Tailors in December. :)

I love The Lathe of Heaven! I look forward to reading that one again. Thanks Morphy!

I have the books in order of fantasy, science fiction, mystery then nonfiction. In order to put The Nine Tailors in December, I'd have to change the order of five other books as well. I don't want to do that.

The only one of these I own is Gorky Park, so I may join in for that one. :)

9> Sure. The Nine Tailors is good no matter when you read it.

I've always meant to read The Day of the Triffids and Never Cry Wolf, so I'll try to join in for those two. I read The Lathe of Heaven a couple or three years ago and I don't think I'll reread it this year, but I'm already looking forward to the discussion on it. And I'll be lurking along with the others as well.

Ran across this thread via fuzzi's; have requested the graphic novel version of the The last unicorn from the library (it's the only one my library owns.)

@markon, they don't have a copy of the original?? That's terrible!

Abebooks has a couple copies for less than $5.00 including shipping:
http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?kn=Beagle&tn=The+last+unicorn

Thrift books has a copy in VG condition for $5.65, and it includes A Fine and Private Place as well. Go here: http://www.thriftbooks.com/viewdetails.aspx?isbn=1582880603

The only Ebook I found was an adaption!! Abomination!

Get a copy of the real thing, if you can...

I am genuinely excited by the prospect of reading and discussing many of these!!! Some are old favorites, like Never Cry Wolf, and some are have been on my TBR stacks for years. Hope this motivates me to join in more often. :o)

I'm excited about getting back on track and reading some from this list. I have several of these just waiting to be read. I need to catch up and them keep up!

Thanks, again, Morphy!
