This is "Smoke", a friend's kitty...

Oh, the tortie in no 3 looks just like my old cat Hazel did when she was a kitten. We had her 18 years and while we now are owned by an adorable black and white cat, I still miss her.

This is Miss Tiggy Wiggins. Her mother is a stray and had five kittens under my friend's bed. She already has a forever home when she gets old enough.

This is Tinker; it was his first picture. A couple of friends, now at a distance and so Facebook friends, had him for almost twenty years. He died today.

PS Rereading this I realize I am probably not clear. It is the video available through the picture's link that shows an indifferent, albeit proximate, owl. The Fum and Gebra link is to another pair that caught our attention sometime back.

Saw this on my local Humane Society's FB page. Had to share. :)

I have a FB friend who has 2 gorgeous British Shorthair cats named Jax & Willow, they are great models & she’s a pretty good photographer so it makes for some very cool photos :)

My MAX looks so much like your JAX! I always thought that MAX was just a DSH 'designed to sell Tuxedo Cats'.

I don't think Max is a "special type".

My Samantha, who's a black cat, is a British shorthair, she has the characteristic thicker fur and rounder face of that breed. My two tuxedo cats Apollo and Buzz are American shorthairs, sleeker and with pointier faces. Jax and Willow are so beautiful and it is great to see the interactive shot at the end there. They sure seem to like being on their hind legs!

This is my kitten Apollo who is now about 7 months - they grow up so fast. I loved the way he had folded his paws like that.
