It's nice to see everyone back here.

I think I am starting to get my reading mojo back. I'm going to sleep an hour earlier and much of my reading was in the 10 pm to midnight range so that's been cutting into my reading somewhat.

Nice to see everyone here.

Suddenly, I've had a flurry of library books but, before too long, I'll get back to my own books, I hope.

Hi Linda! I'm in the same place (library book-wise) and am hoping to get back to more of my own soon.

I finished January one ROOT under my monthly goal but I can easily catch up. Lots of library books for me in late January and, even now, I think I've got 3 library books checked out.

With a short month and the Winter Olympics, which I love, coming close to my 6-per-month ROOT goal will be my aim.

I'd fallen a bit behind the pace but, so far this month, I've read 7 ROOTS and made up some ground. I'm almost finished with my 8th ROOT of the month, which will put me right back on my pace. Hopefully, I can get ahead.

You're not alone, I've fallen behind too. Trying to cram a couple more in before the end of the month and finish a long audiobook. That'll teach me not to take my foot off the gas at the beginning of the month. Good luck with getting ahead!

I've now reached the halfway point on my ROOTs for the season, my 36th, out of 72.

Halfway through the year and I'm at 47 of 72 ROOTS so I'm making good progress. I ought to be able to finish before year's end and even contribute a few ROOTS to the cause.

>19 LadyoftheLodge: I''ll have to take a look at some of the books you've read. It seems like some of my usuals either aren't writing anymore or are slowing down. Thankfully, during my medical leave, I managed to find some new authors.

Just reached my ROOT goal for the year, 72 books. I don't keep track of how many I buy but I would imagine that it's more than 72, though.

Thanks!! After this, I'm going to try to focus on reading some of my actual print books for the rest of the year. I just bought a new Kindle, a Paperwhite (alas, right before they announced an upgrade to it, due out in November), but I'd still like to clean up some of my accumulated books.
