Thank you for sharing another masterpiece from your collection. Always nice to see some European printers here. With my modest budget I still need to find an affordable Odyssey and Iliad in English. Nonesuch press and Shakespeare Head Press come to mind first.

>1 originaux: Beautiful. I really like those illustrated capitals to start each chapter. I don't know if I have enough bandwidth left in my life to read the Odyssey in my halting high school French, so this won't be going on my list of books to potentially buy, but it's nice to see it.

Excellent selection. The Metamorphoses is one of the jewels of the George Macy LEC bibliography of nearly 600 editions. Note that it was designed and published by Giovanni (Hans) Mardersteig at his Officina Bodoni in Verona. The nearly two dozen Mardersteig / Officina Bodoni LEC editions are superb.
