I'm new to this group, and to reading for challenges. I joined LT in fall of 2023, right after starting a part-time job at my local public library. I mostly work in the Children's Department, and lead one or two storytimes each week. My own kids are 9th and 4th graders this year, and my husband does IT Support at our local university, here in Ohio, USA. We all love reading, and it's an essential part of every day.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Mystery, Classics are my favorites, my fandoms include Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Agatha Christie. I read a LOT of kids books for story times and my kids read TONS of graphic novels. I'm working on becoming more familiar with "middle-grade" books for work, too.

I'm going to start my challenges early! I'm about to be off work and recovering from surgery for several weeks, so I'm deciding I get to start now and hopefully amuse or distract myself during my convalescence!

BingoDOG 14: Totally random
Possibilities suggested by LibraryThing Roulette:
(I pushed the button for a random Popular Work until I got three possibilities that didn't get an immediate veto.)
The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2017 - I do love SF&F
Lady Vernon and Her Daughter: A Novel of Jane Austen's Lady Susan -- I only just read Lady Susan, so this is a fun random one!
Brave, Not Perfect - This one's at my library: 155.333 S

The first two I'd need to get through OhioLink if I want a hardcopy.
