Several bugs affecting localization and translation

I create a separate post for each bug, which I try to illustrate with a commented screenshot.

@birder4106 Are you unable to find the untranslated terms on the All Untranslated page? https://www.librarything.com/translate.php?remaining=1 probably easiest to select All per page from the dropdown, wait for it all to load and then search the untranslated phrase.

If the yellow means it is waiting to be translated, and Birder said it cannot be translated, then maybe there is a bug that the parts that are supposed to be translated aren't able to be translated.

The translated phrase "Veröffentlichte Rezensionen" (in blue) is very long in German. This leaves hardly any space for the information displayed in a red frame, making it difficult to read and not looking good.
This could perhaps be improved by separating text (line breaks).

Regarding >5 birder4106:, >7 birder4106:, and >8 birder4106:: Thanks for the tip. I was able to translate quite a bit.

Before the translation changes due to the newer LT2 pages, I mostly translated using the provided link. If the phrases I need to translate can no longer be found using the new method, I'll try the old method.

I'm going to mark this as fixed since >2 birder4106: and >3 birder4106: were fixed, and >4 birder4106: still has 1 of the "Choose a language" strings translatable. The other "/" button issue has been there for some time, so I would either make a new report for that or we'll have to defer and handle that another time, I think.

To reproduce:
1. In an incognito browser, go to https://www.librarything.com/t/de then go to https://www.librarything.com/. Note the "Choose a language." pop-up that shows up.

There is a class of "untrans" elements in the "Choose a language" lightbox, with text that seems to be translatable but once you log into LibraryThing (with German/Deutsch as the language) you cannot find these strings on https://www.librarything.com/translate.php?page=&pnum=1&remaining=1&...

NB: the same pop-up shows up if you go from https://www.librarything.com/t/fr to https://www.librarything.com. Once you log in and inspect the translate page at https://www.librarything.com/translate.php?page=&pnum=1&remaining=1&... (in French mode) the "Choose a language" strings are not there.

I believe this is somewhat expected behavior but I'm not sure how we should handle that general "Choose a language." pop-up when moving from a /t/language page to .com, signed-out. It seems we're using the same translatable strings across foreign /t/ sites when going to .com. For example, "Choose a language." uses the same translate ID "tr320737921" when navigating from /t/de and /t/fr to .com. The same ID is also being used for "English (USA)" in both examples, "tr2032400325".

On Saturday, March 15, Peter Bichsel, one of Switzerland's most esteemed authors, died a few days before his 90th birthday.
For this sad reason, I tried to update his biography in CK. I was successful in some of the details, but failed in entering the date of death. Even recalculating the author's name didn't result in the date being displayed.
On the English pages (US/UK), however, the date is displayed correctly. I then visited the French, Italian, and Hungarian pages of CK. The date of death is not displayed there either.
