In 2025 I finished my PgDip in garden design so there’ll be fewer garden-related books.
I’ll review my book piles during January, accept that there are some ROOTs I’ve been avoiding and re-home them, then I’ll have a clearer picture of what’s to be tackled.
In the meantime I’m going for thirty ROOTs this year. This includes books given to me as gifts or that have been on my wish list since before 2026.

Hello Donne, great to see you back here. I really do love that. How are you doing and how is the family?

Welcome back and have a great reading year!

>4 connie53: hi Connie, I’m well thanks, hope you are too, and your family? They look well in the photos on your thread.
My daughter’s living with me since returning from working in Australia for 18 months. She’s seeing someone she dated before - seems to be ‘serious’!
My son is working as a social worker and has a new house he’s enjoying spending his salary on.
My parents have moved next door to my brother and he keeps an eye on them.
So my time is pretty much my own just now, and that’s very much appreciated while I get to grips with designing gardens. Excited to see what 2026 brings. More reading definitely!
