I finished reading The Last Lecture the other day and there was a section entitled "Make a Decision: Tigger or Eeyore." I was amused at the idea that you had to be either one or the other. LOL I think I lean more towards Tigger, but I certainly have my share of Eeyore moments.

Which way do you lean?

Eeyore all the way.

Jun 16, 2008, 2:39 pm

I actually walk with a bounce, but I have Eeyore moods. I'm Tigore...sounds like a Bengali writer.

Jun 16, 2008, 2:41 pm

Tigger. I have even been told (by more than one person) that my somewhat bouncy walk reminds them of that.

5VictoriaPL

Eeyore.

#6 I've been better at remembering to keep that tucked in. :P

Maybe I should let you all judge for me. Who do I look more like, Tigger or Eeyore? (I'm in the white shirt.)

9clamairy
Jun 16, 2008, 2:51 pm

#7 - Shouldn't you be waving it around in the air?

10clamairy
Jun 16, 2008, 2:54 pm

#8 - OMG, is that you and your brother? You are both so freaking cute, but those shorts and shirt he's wearing make these pictures serious bribery material. He should be offering you mucho dinero for these.

Oh, and you look more like Eeyore. ;o)

Eeyore, always Eeyore.

Eeyore, but want to be Tigger.

14twomoredays
Jun 16, 2008, 3:14 pm

Eeyore over Tigger any day. Tigger's a jackass. He bounces animals in rivers.

Though if we got our pick of the Hundred-Acre Wood, I think I'm more of a Piglet-Eeyore hybrid. Eeyore's moods and rainclouds mixed with piglet's anxiety and shyness. Ah, don't you all wish you could spend time with me in real life, now?

Eeyore for me!

If anyone wants to read way too much into the philosophy of Pooh characters, read The Tao of Pooh. It's a fun little read.

Jun 16, 2008, 4:14 pm

#16 dodger, I read The Tao of Pooh after my son said, yet again, "You must read this." I'm getting more and more of those comments from him!

I'm Eeyore most of the time, but I do have my Tigger moments.

18Mario_Laranaga

I'm a Charlie Brown. Does that count?

19hearts3134
Jun 16, 2008, 4:39 pm

I'm way more of a Tigger, but my mom is the epitome of Eeyore-ness!

We have made jokes about it ever since I decorated my daughter's nursery with a Pooh bear theme, I always gave her the Eeyore stuff.

Made for an interesting teenage years mix! :P

20JPB

#9 perhaps, but it most fun to bounce on things with it.

Eeyore for sure.. I have an Eeyore Sweathirt!

I have never been Tigger-ish....

I decided that my future husband was a Tigger from the 2nd or 3rd time that we met...but I have always felt more like rabbit.

23VictoriaPL

I have two Eeyore sweatshirts and an Eeyore bathing suit.

24Tane
Jun 16, 2008, 5:20 pm

Tigger, without question. Unless it's been a bad day, then Eeyore might just take over ;-)

My husband is a definite Eeyore (in fact, I often accuse him of it) but I don't think I'm much like Tigger or Eeyore. Maybe a cross between Pooh and Kanga.

27clamairy

I am NOT a Pooh....

I'm more like Eeyore than Tigger but mostly like Piglet.

32gmork
Edited: Jun 16, 2008, 7:11 pm

I once took an on-line "pooh-sonality" test that rated me a Heffalump.

Though Eeyore would probably do in a pinch.

Edit to add: Here it is...

My eldest son was Tigger; my youngest was Piglet. Personally, I've always been Eeyore.

36compskibook
Jun 16, 2008, 8:01 pm

On the survey I was Pooh.

As far as the thread goes, Eeyore, but Tigger does have that great song:
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Are Tiggers are wonderful things...

37twomoredays
Jun 16, 2008, 8:15 pm

According to that survey, I'm still an eeyore.

38caitemaire

the test say Eeyore...but i have a full Tigger costume so....

39Choreocrat
Jun 16, 2008, 8:56 pm

Eeyore most of the time, but I turn into Tigger at parties.

40Severn
Jun 16, 2008, 8:56 pm

Well let's see.

On the Tigger side:

I have a close friend who calls me Tigger.
I always wanted, desperately craved, Tigger and Roo's watercress sandwiches, even though I didn't know what watercress was.
I loved Tigger's bounciness.

On the Eeyore side:

I played pooh-sticks with Mum.
I can be a gloomy-butt much of the time
Eeyore's just so cute.

Hm.

I'll have to go Tigger. Those watercress sandwiches made an impression.

41aviddiva
Jun 16, 2008, 9:21 pm

Clam, I'm Christopher Robin, too, but with a quick flip of the mouse I become... OWL!

42MrsLee
Jun 16, 2008, 9:32 pm

Pretty sure I'm Eeyore. I always think the best of folks, but I'm not surprised when they don't live up to it.

That test says I'm a Heffalump. It only gave me one chance. Just 'cause I don't like birthday parties anymore. :(

Another online Pooh test said I was Rabbit. Am not. No one's home!

43Jakeofalltrades
Jun 16, 2008, 9:39 pm

I did the test and I got Piglet. As a child I always identified with Piglet, even moreso when I was diagnosed with anxiety problems. I do go on adventures though, and enjoy birthday parties...

44clamairy

Piglets are very tasty. Tastier than puffins, even...

Edited: Jun 16, 2008, 11:29 pm

What a question, I have mix & match pj's; the bottoms are tigger & the top is eyeore - i think that makes me confused, lol...

I've always loved tigger, I have a huge tigger toy/cushion in the back of my car & i used to be called bounce on annother forum i frequented, but that was in my partying days, now I'm much more of an eyeore, I tend to wanna be by myself alot & I'm a pretty lazy person...

So although I love tigger, i'm more of an eyeore...

ETA: ok, now i'm even more confused, poohsonality test says I'm most like owl, lol

56hearts3134
Jun 16, 2008, 11:34 pm

Yep. Poohsonality confirms! :)

"You are most like Tigger!"

PS: Thanks gmork, I *love* the little tests to see who or what your personality is!

57Choreocrat
Jun 17, 2008, 1:31 am

Oh. I'm Piglet. That's no surprise, actually.

Say, y'all have read the Psychoanalysis of Pooh characters psych article, hain't yas? It's a hoot!

58ExVivre
Jun 17, 2008, 8:47 am

Hmm... he's social, like parties, hates exercise, wears loafers and coordinates outfits with his hair color. Yep, Christopher Robin's a queen.

59cal8769
Jun 17, 2008, 8:52 am

MrA as Hobbes..... That is a perfect fit.
The test confirms I am still an Eeyore.

60Booksloth
Jun 17, 2008, 9:12 am

Tigger or Eyeore? Isn't that a bit like asking 'water or oxygen'?

61Booksloth
Jun 17, 2008, 9:15 am

According to the survey I'm a heffalump. Funny that, I've always thought I'd be a Kanga.

62Thalia
Jun 17, 2008, 12:21 pm

Oh, I'm most like Winnie-the-Pooh. Cool ;-)

63LittleKnife

The test says I am a Heffalump but I think I have always been Christopher Robin or Owl

64angelikat
Jun 17, 2008, 1:28 pm

Well.....if I take my meds I am Tigger, if I don't then I am Eeyore, but the test claims I am Gopher, so maybe I am really sybil.

65momom248
Jun 17, 2008, 2:07 pm

I'm a little of both--but probably more tendency toward Tigger.

66clamairy
Jun 17, 2008, 2:27 pm

Today is a Eeyore day for me... no doubt about it.

67BookishRuth
Jun 17, 2008, 11:53 pm

I'm Piglet -- definitely fits -- even though my nickname is Roo! Of Tigger and Eeyore, I'm Eeyore.

68foggidawn
Jun 19, 2008, 9:42 pm

The test says I'm Owl, which works for me. If I had to pick between Tigger and Eeyore, I'd be Eeyore.

69kassetra
Jun 20, 2008, 1:55 am

Between Tigger and Eeyore... I'm a Tigger.
According to the test, however, I'm Kanga. I've always suspected I was Kanga... and now this confirms it!

70Arctic-Stranger
Jun 20, 2008, 2:51 am

Survey says.....Pooh.

Bother.
