I apologize for this! The reason for the incomplete search result can not be a cache issue, the books have been added months a go. It seems to be an inconsistency between the improved new type generation of author url and the search implementation.
example: « search_author.php » for « Herta Müller » lists only the folowing:
1: /author/hertamller&norefer=1
2: /author/mllerherta&norefer=1
3: /author/mullerherta&norefer=1
the folowing is missing:
4: /author/muumlllerherta&norefer=1
----
I noticed that the author is not properly combined. 2: is combined with second level
2a: /author/2743184200&norefer=2
2a: /author/matildefracllerherta&norefer=2
I have two questions related to other topics:
a) Would it be possible to recombine the author at the author url #4?
see also: "I wonder if it would be possible to force way these urls are combined. Maybe some LT stuff can post a topic where they can impose the combine levels." at about LT « author url arbitration » ; cases where different author sre sharing an url
b) I posted a topic about inheriting « Common Knowledge » from second level author url's to top level author url's but I can not find that topic any more.
Is such a feature available in the meantime?
Best regards Reinhardt

here it is: discrepancy about common knowledge that should be inherited
I could not find it because of topic « search_talk.php » does not search topic titles; it soearch only the message content.
