The Lucky Starr stories are intended for young readers (10 - 14?) and are fairly simple reads for adults. If you are looking for good, safe (G rated) science fiction for young readers, even if they are a bit dated, these are still excellent. Kids used to today's high action movies and books may find them a bit slow, unless they are true readers. ( )
