Description

In this hilarious follow-up to 'Alec Baldwin Doesn't Love Me', Michael Ford takes the reader further inside his queer life from the social faux pas of sending a man flowers, to owning a CD possessed by the religious right, to the perils of using lavender-scented soap as a lubricant. A wild and wide-ranging collection of essays that are often poignant and always funny - a true look at living a queer life.

A funny and wonderfully stinging set of essays from a very talented writer. I prefered Alec Baldwin Doesn't Love Me, but this book was solid as well.

Ford knows how to tell a story, and relate it in a way that is distinctively his. The title essay is one of my favorite examples of how pride in self and community needn't require unreturned forgiveness.

And how fabulous is that? Bitch!
Ford is back with more tales of his life. From his overbearing mother who disapproves of rock music. Going to a conservative fundamentalist Christian college. His dog Roger and play time at the park. Fun read overall.
