Snider is a name dropper (he even admits that upfront), but this is a genuinely interesting read from a funny singer-songwriter. There was a bit of a seventh-inning stretch--really, how much does one need to read about unabashed drug use?--but the book more than makes up for it with a sincere section about Kris Kristofferson. There's plenty of attention paid to Jimmy Buffet and John Prine, too. I like to read biographies and auto biographies by musicians but I couldn't get into this one. Lots of drugs and namedropping.
