Loved the food science aspect, they break down how something might brown for example. They have "shopping IQ" sections for how to get the best out of your purchasing dollars, and they explain things like the difference between beef cuts.
Limited vegetarian options, however, I recommend it without reservations, you do not have to own a fancy smoker grill to love this book. ( )
