Description

Kane, the mystic swordsman - an immortal, flame-haired sorcerer-warrior, cursed by an insane elder god to walk the Earth until eventually destroyed by the violence that he himself created. Deep in the forest, hidden inside eldritch ruins within the impenatrable swamp of the batrachian toad-men, there exists an ancient relic from the days when an elder race from beyond the stars ruled a pre-human Earth. Six tales of sorcery and swordplay while the Night Winds howl.

This has 3 stories about Kane, Wagner's dark version of Conan. Kane strangled his brother on the alter of the mad god that created man. The god cursed him to live until the violence he brought to the race killed him. Kane is very tough, mean & intelligent, so keeps living. A great read for anyone who likes 'Sword & Sorcery'.
First read these stories almost 40 years ago and they still stand as some of the best Sword and Sorcery to be found.
