Covers the European exploration of the New World, from 1415 to 1620. An interesting and useful treatment of a well-covered aspect of history. Few make science and history as accessible as the Time-Life folks.
i have read many in this series but this has been my favourite. explained why the exploration happened and why portugal was the first.
