Crabtree & Evelyn Cookbook: A Book of Light Meals and Small Feasts

This is a cookbook for the audience of Masterpiece Theatre: it presents as English (and very nostalgically English) but was published in the US and aimed at the anglophile consumers who purchased the Crabtree and Evelyn products. The illustrations are taken from the multi-decade history of illustrations used for Crabtree and Evelyn products, with a rural and sometimes faux-mediaeval style.

That being said, it is a good cookbook, with a reasonable set of good recipes, many of which are classic and some of which are interesting variants.
