Gentle pictures for a gentle book about snow falling on a bundled-up child and her dog: her reaction to one, then two, then three, then four, then millions of snowflakes. Reminiscent, if you're me, of Gamov's One, Two, Three, Infinity.
We liked this book, with its rhymes and the illustrations were adorable.
A child plays in the snow with her dog, she describes how the snowflakes interact with her, her body nose, hand. Recognition of one's self is evident in this book. This would be a good book to read to a child Ages 1-3, this would also be a great book for a beginner reader to read to themselves 3-6.
