This book is about art. It teaches students to know that art “can be so many things.” It may be ugly in one persons eyes but beautiful to someone else. The book explains how art used to be used on cave walls and in desert rocks. There are different sections such as “How to carve wood,” “How to sculpt marble,” and “How to create land art.” There are also many examples of art. It teaches about representational or abstract art and one dimensional or three dimensional arts.
Personal Reflection:
I thought this book was very educational. It explains many different aspects of art. I liked that it even taught the readers about the artists as well.
Classroom Extensions:
