An excellent introduction for children to this artist. Benke uses photographs and artwork side by side to tell the story of O'Keeffe's life and her art. The text is simple but not sparse, easy to read but not condescending. I'm particularly interested in O'Keeffe because New Mexico was a large part of her life and art.
There are several gorgeous colour photographs of O'Keeffe's amazing paintings in this book.
