Hercules [1997 film]

Terribly anachronistic? Hell yeah. But it's certainly hella fun as long as you don't expect this movie to take mythology/history canon too seriously. The TV show based off this is also fun.

Mindless entertainment but suitable for an evening with the kids.
Don't use it as an authoritative guide to Greek mythology, but it covers some of the basics of the Hercules story.

Zeus' son must prove himself a hero to be allowed into Olympus.

Painless - which is pretty good for 90's Disney. Even some of the musical numbers are okay.
