Description
He's back again, that lovable Professor with his five pairs of spectacles and his pockets full of all manner of things, including half-eaten buns. Once more, he is staunchly supported by his old and loyal friend Colonel Dedshott, so often the unwitting victim of the Professor's inventions, which still tend to get somewhat out of hand -- from the automatic fire alarm which not only warns the fire brigade of a major blaze, but also records the Mayor of Pagwell lighting his cigar, to the show more lightning-change scenery machine in the theatre which becomes so uncontrollable that it shows a view of the sea coast with an oak ceiling and Chinese pagodas. But, undaunted, the Professor carries on inventing -- cricket machines, invisible glass, a deflatable house, and even a special kind of bomb which nearly causes Colonel Dedshott to be shot dead. show lessTags
