About my library People often criticise me for spending as much money on books as I do. "You have more books than you can read in a lifetime!", they proclaim. My answer is quite simple: "Books are my life. They are a comfort ... an escape ... an endless source of joy. Many people spend hours watching tv or talking on the phone. I prefer to spend my time reading. Many people spend money on clothing and electronics. I prefer to spend my money on something that will stay with me forever. There are books that have made me feel less alone in my struggles ... books that have made me think about the world in a different way ... books that have made me laugh ... books that have angered me ... books that made my heart break into tiny pieces. Books such as these have changed my life ... and that, my friends, is priceless.

wow you have a huge collection of Ebooks! I've only recently switched to ebooks, and am having a real hassle trying to enter their titles, seems that ebooks are using a different isbn from the normal physical books, so i simply gave up...
So Many Books, So Little Time: A Year of Passionate Reading…by Sara Nelson - that was previously on my to-read list, but am now thinking twice after reading your review - I'm not too fond of book-snobs myself - and reading is a very personal thing after all...better to stick to recommendations by the regular LibraryThingers here :D
