contemporary, but early Holmes, with a better than average ability to imitate Doyle's style with Watson. repetitive handling of dialogue grammar, such as an abundance of said he's instead of he said's. Plots were sometimes clever and the stories were not overly long, except with VELVET MASK and OLD SCHOOL FRIEND.
1. The Adventure of The Crimson Arrow: I recognized the spirit of the orginnal stories and enjoyed the read.
Tired of paying good money for these books and finding stories I've already read elsewhere.
