National Geographic The Holy Land: Crossroads of Faith & Conflict
Another winner for National Geographic! Photographs from their large collection are used to document the story of an area that is the birthplace of three religions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Detailed maps show the many changes in ownership and borders for all the countries involved.
This book was purchased as a gift for me by my family before my trip to Jordan and Israel. What a wonderful surprise. This presentation show more brought this part of the world to life and I highly recommend this book to read and to own. show less

The Complete National Geographic: Every Issue Since 1888 Of National Geographic Magazine on Your Computer by John Hyde
Most excellent resource to have if you love National Geographic Magazines but have no room for them and can't find articles when you need them. Hands-down needed in any educated household - that is until 2007-2008 when it was made. That's the only drawback - you have buy the next edition to keep current.
It had been awhile since I looked at a National Geographic magazine and I had forgotten how amazing the photography is. My parents and grandparents used to subscribe to this magazine while I grew up and I think I mostly just enjoyed the pictures. Now the articles that accompany the images are just interesting to me.
Small book published by National Geographic Society that are photographs submitted by amateur photographers from all over the world.
Broken into four sections: Ode to Joy, Human Moments, Odd Couples and Natural Wonder.
A great gift idea for young and older photographers.
