On the positive side, this well researched book contains a wealth of information regarding the persons, places, politics and battles of the Revolutionary war. However, it often reads more like a simple collection of facts lacking smooth transitions from story to story, or chapter to chapter.
Nonetheless, a highly informative and recommended read for those with particular interest (and some prior background) in the War.

Not a lot of real surprises for those already knowledgeable about World War II.
