NOTE: ** This is a review of Anna Lowe's Damnation Only!

~ 4 Damnation Stars ~

What happens when old hurts still linger and old threats come calling?

Damnation is book one in the Blue Moon Saloon series by [a:Anna Lowe|4241741|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1459872490p2/4241741.jpg]. What a wonderful new series that brings us strong heroines, alpha heroes, shifters of all kinds, hot cowboys, action, and much more.

The Blue Moon Saloon series takes place in the same world as The Twin show more Moon Ranch series. What is important to note is that both series can be read separately even though they are in the same world coexisting side-by-side. The author does a fabulous job bring her world to life and working in the characters from the other series, but what's impressive is that she made them feel brand new or if you are a fan, ones you have come to love.

I devoured this book in one sitting. I had a great time with this second chance romance. I will never be board or get enough of Ms. Lowe's characters and world. She is an outstanding writing that can bring her characters to life, pulling the reader in deeply, making you feel for them.

Jessica and Simon have a past that caused them both to be hurt in more ways then one. These two had a few things to work out and also an old enemy that doesn't want to see them together come around. These two go through so many emotions; before they finally clear the air and work everything out. When they finally hook-up again, well the sexy times are sensual, steamy, and romantic. As for our enemy it was rather quick, but you know they will be back.

Their is a prequel, [b:Perfection|29743428|Perfection (Blue Moon Saloon, #0.5)|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1459358549s/29743428.jpg|50097480], for Simon and Jessica. It's their beginning, before everything went wrong. No, I have not read it. Should you read it before you read Damnation? Well some reviewers say yes, I on the other hand can't say until I read it, but I felt the story stood on it's own.

Damnation was a sweet second chance romance that will take you on a whirlwind of emotions, action, suspense, and love that never faded. I highly recommend this new series as well as her Twin Moon Ranch. I can't wait for the next installment in this series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hannah is a curvy, shy, small town dancer in the big city for the first time. She got a scholarship to dance at a school. This is Hannah first time away from home, so she has to make ends meet and does the only thing she can think of and dances on the street for money. All she ever want to be is a dancer and now her dreams are coming true, hopefully. Then she meets Andrei and things start to change. Is for show more the good or the bad?

Andrei is a crown bear shifter prince who just want to live a simple life. On one of his many escapes from his detail, he runs across Hannah on the street. He is drawn to her instantly. They exchange small as she is dancing on the street. Just with the small talk they shared he feels something for her. So when she leaves to go home, he follows her. Andrei ends up saving her from an attack on her way home. But it cost him a lot to do that in more ways one.

Hannah is nursing Andrei back to health after he helped her from an unwanted attacked on her, where is was injured. The days that they spend together while he recuperates, they build a stronger bond that Andrei's bear like and so does he. What will happen once Hannah finds out who and what Andrei is? How long will Andrei keep is identity a secret from Hannah?

I loved this book. I could not put it down once I started reading it. I really liked the characters. They were will built and described. The flow of the story was on point. I can not wait to read the second book in this series. I recommend this book and author to others.

Yeah I didn't rate this. I thought it was going to be riveting but I mostly just found it boring and somewhat lame. It wasn't really well developed in any aspect of the world or the characters. There's potential but it needs to be reworked and fleshed out.
It just didn't work for me. He is an Alpha but he is so arrogant I didn't like him.
