Seems like a normal verbally oriented child's vocabulary eclipses this book very quickly. About three quarters of the words my 8 year old looks up aren't there. Still, the definitions are good and the reference material (e.g., U.S. Presidents, geography) in the back is good.
The Octonauts are a lot of fun for both my kids and me. I've learned a lot of things about sea life myself! Honestly, I'd never heard of a whale shark before this book.
Nancy Drew books are spine chilling mystery stories and this story is the first made.
This was made in 1930 and is still around. They have just made a cdrom out of the book and it is quite scary when you go down the secret tunnel and you hear the noises.
The books were first made in hardcover and have been changed to paperback over the years.
This book is Nancy Drew's first mystery solved by herself, It's about a mystery of a old man who dies and says he will leave this family money except when show more they go to look for the will it impossible to find the only clues are in the barn attic, the clocks and this man who says he reads minds and can tell your future. show less
"Love Is" is an example of poetry because each word is purposely chosen to explain what love is.
