Another great origami book by the Biddles. I started out with this book, and while I now prefer "The New Origami" this is a great book of patterns as well. The cover dragon, for example, has clear directions on how to make it and put it together. I get easily frustrated by fiddly directions and it came out perfect.
The New Origami : Dozens of Projects Using the Newest Kinds of Origami: Modular, Puzzle, Storytelling, Practical, S by Steve Biddle
This is a really great origami book for people who are new to it and more experienced folders. The projects vary from quite simple to very complex and the directions and pictures are always clear.
There are some lovely things in here, including the little boxes I folded for holding the necklaces I made for the kidleths for midsummer.
Well-designed and attractive book organized by base fold. A brief chapter on modular origami, with one basic module which can construct numerous figures. No photographs of completed models.
