Excuse me while I sound like the English nerd that I am, but there is great voice in this memoir. I read most of it while my students were engaged in their own SSR, and oftne times I would disturb them with bursts of laughter or long-drawn out sighs.
Nicholas takes us on a 3 week trip around the world with his brother Micah. the story is told in the present as he is on the trip as well as in flashbacks of his childhood.
Pragmagic is a non-linear exploration of the emerging science of brain and mind, spirit and body, self and society. Taken from Marilyn Ferguson's newsletter, Brain/Mind Bulletin, this volume collects over a decade of collected information in a comprehensive study, where the connections rise to the surface to reveal a whole new dimension of understanding. Practical and magical, scientific and wonderful, inspiring and down-to-earth. Pick it up anywhere and find yourself unable to put it down.
