It’s been a while since I have one of Durjoy Datta’s books and I really thought I would enjoy this but I was quite disappointed. Though the premise sounds interesting and I could feel the struggle that Deb was going through in the aftermath of the bomb blast, I couldn’t really empathize with him after a point because all he spoke about was how beautiful and good in bed Avantika was. It just became too much after a certain point. The diary entries also seemed a little creepy at the show more beginning but they were what I liked the most in the second half of the book. The relationship between Shrey and Tia also seemed a little forced and insta-lovey which I couldn’t connect with. On the whole, the only reason for my 3 stars are for the mystery of the diary and their love story. show less
Durjoy Datta’s World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend delves into the complexities of love, heartbreak, and personal growth through the lives of Aanchal Madan and Daksh Dey.

The story highlights their tumultuous journey as they navigate their past mistakes, rekindle emotions, and confront unresolved issues. The chemistry between the two characters is palpable, but their inability to understand the depth of their bond brings pain and confusion.

Despite the ups and downs, they are drawn to each other, show more facing life’s challenges together. The novel’s ending, while emotional, leans toward the predictable, but it doesn’t overshadow the enjoyable narrative.

Overall, it’s a gripping romance that explores the intricacies of relationships, making it a worthwhile read for romance lovers.

This time Durjoy dutta did something fabulous with writing, He use perfect sarcasm and names to place his point of view, and if anyone mentioned characters have to defame this book they have to actually admit it that there are name is , and its and Ultimate comic relief moment of reading changed names, and i know that he bit exaggerated the science fiction theory behind the novel and concept of Soulmates and soul re-incarnation and soul transfer thing, A story of couple Anvesha and Dhruvan show more who were born same time same hospital and neighborhood lovers had some really good chemistry and qualities of lovers and rebels, a story of conspiracy theory analyst girl who see world with crooked glass and a simpleton book nerd who want to do something to make his love and parents proud of him by getting his merits academic qualifications. A story of Acharya family who are actual the puppeteer of the current government and its supporters and influential family who have done and earned a great fortune that they hold power to build and destroy anything and have issues and want a dictator Government run by elites to get more rich and powerful. Although this story is not completed as Dhruvan and Anvesha were writing down the book when events they went through in life give them a tough and rough relationship ups and down. Changes name of character are recognisable and one can easily decipher whom is it talked about and final jab of @thisisravinder name was nail in coffin of comic relief and it was really funny show less
This book is a light read and well written by DD, as book talks about various things that today become part and parcel of our generation talk, like spreading rumours, MMS, gay relationship, love preference, failing test, stress and many more . Writing was good, a light read, one sitting done book, have LGBTQ angle, pace of the novel glide there were up down moment that make it excited to read though bit of story is dragged and lot of F* words are used and xxx scenes are constructed can be show more restrained some and more development of brother character would have make it a master piece out of it.

This book is like that Aisha who is teenager with big bust was talk of the school that she sleep with everyone but she is not like that she is completely innocent i say but she is gullible, and trust easily and thats why things happen to her. But she got support from our Danish person who is in school to complete his Psychology project and guide students become a talk of the school as he passionately do his work and Aisha fall in love with him, there love story become school talk for long time but jealous people and some rowdy boys, Her brother who is in turmoil and have Faced bullying for long time because he is gay, so he was constantly support his sister but when things got out of hands he left and here Aisha try to stand against all odds and work according but things went fell loose when Danish and her love story become talk of the school when she fight against it and was about to give up her brother is back and with his boyfriend. Coming into the picture things were all set up everyone and fall at right place , and make this impossible love story happens everyone now knows not to mess with these sibling because now they are confident enough to face anything...
