Priceless Florida is the only book you'll ever need about Florida ecosystems and what makes them unique, wonderful, and irreplaceable. It should be required reading for every developer, carpetbagger, snowbird, and immigrant who wishes to take up residence in this great (and declining) state. God bless Florida (may God save her as well).
Mah Jong (as it is spelled here) is a wonderful game, but scoring is incredibly complex, at least the classical version. This may be a bit simpler, but it doesn't gibe at all with how my mother-in-law in China counts the score. If I have to pick, I'll go with my mother-in-law.
This is a very informative text that includes several useful charts. I used this for a distance-learning college course and found that, even without face-to-face interaction with an instructor, I got my money's worth from the class based on the quality of this book. Of course, it's still a textbook, mind, so don't expect a riveting read. It's instructive, well-illustrated, organized ... all things a textbook should be.
Current, practical information in a real-world context for future nurses and health care professionals. Designed for the clinical nutrition and/or diet therapy nutrition course, NUTRITION FOR HEALTH AND HEALTH CARE is a trusted text that demonstrates the important role of nutrition to future nurses and health care professionals in their future careers. The text begins by covering basic nutrition concepts and followed by clinical topics organized by organ systems, linking nutrition to show more different disease states, such as diabetes, renal disease, and liver disorders. Each chapter includes practical information, current research, and clinical practice guidelines for addressing nutrition concerns and incorporating nutrition into care plans. Valuable supplements accompany this text to help instructors prepare for class and to help students succeed in their course. show less
