Non capisco come si possano attribuire una o due stelle a questo romanzo. Lo stile della Comencini è perfetto. Frammentario sì, minimalista sì, ma fortemente empatico. I personaggi ti entrano dentro. La storia è accattivante e coinvolgente, mi ha tenuta sveglia tutta la notte. Forse chi da due stelle dovrebbe limitarsi a leggere quel che legge di solito: romanzetti rosa scialbi scritti con i piedi da sedicenti autrici! Quando la notte: DIECI E LODE!

This is a different kind of novel, more of a character study, the inner dialogue of two flawed people. The writing is addictive, the story flows seamlessly. It is a quiet novel about two people who because of past experiences, mistakes and one terrible night when they share a profound experience become bounded together almost against their will. This is a novel about overcoming a past in order to grab on to a future and how circumstances can cause people to settle for what they have whether show more it is right for them or not. The book ended rather abruptly and usually I am the kind of reader that likes definitive endings but when I thought back over the novel and what I had discerned about these characters it was actually very fitting. show less

Una donna forte ma a suo modo irrazionale, un amore strano, punteggiato dall'assenza, dall'incapacità di lasciarsi andare per paura di essere trasformati in qualcosa d'altro.
E uno scavo nella memoria che necessariamente passa dal primo uomo, e soprattutto dalla prima donna, veramente umani.
Un libro che da voce a tutti i personaggi, e che pure, tutti, parlano con la voce della protagonista.
Non avevo mai letto nulla della Comencini, e questo è stato un primo approccio davvero gradevole.
