Chapter 9, Sharpen Your Skill, is the best chapter in this book. The author provides some practice for the reader. In addition to the practice, there are solutions and explanations. But the result is that the author engages the reader in the process, not just the knowledge covered.
Analyzing Performance Problems: Or, You Really Oughta Wanna--How to Figure out Why People Aren't Doing What They Should Be, and What to do About It by Robert F. Mager
The Chapter "What would happen if we left it alone ?' would be worth the price of the book. It is the usual Mager quality, useful for both school and work. I am thinking about applying it to personal goals
Deals with the importance of having clear attainable goals and how to reduce fuzziness in thinking about them.
