Miss Holland's Betrothal is a charming Regency Romance about a unique love triangle between a beautiful maiden and her two suitors.
The Marquess of Sutterton has proposed to Isabelle. With an impending marriage to such a handsome, titled man, shouldn't she be happy? Isabelle finds their romance falling as the notorious rake betrays her-and she finds herself in love with a honorable Captain instead! How will she be able to choose between her two lovers?
I found this to be a delightful Regency show more Romance, with each chapter leaving me wanting more. Both of Miss Holland's suitors are dashing, interesting characters, and the reader will cheer for true love to save the day.
Although there is no sex involved in the storyline, there are undertones of an incestuous relationship, which some readers might find a little bothersome. It doesn't involve the heroine and isn't the focal part of the storyline, but it did stick out for me, as a Regency fan. show less

a bit boring but pleasant. no one really evil except one person who wasn't much of a worry.
