è un LIBRO DELLA VITA, uno di quelli che non dimentichi più e che anche se non sai esattamente cosa, sai che comunque, dopo averlo letto, qualcosa è cambiato

PS: da adolescente, per non so quale motivo, (cosa cavolo avessi visto, letto o sentito) avevo uno "zaino d'emergenza" da afferrare al volo se prendeva fuoco la casa o se veniva un terremoto, qualcosa da salvare, di importante e unico, per non dover dire poi "ho perso tutto, non ho più niente" dentro c'erano show more una lettera e un pezzetto di vetro colorato proveniente da un incursione proibita nel Castello cinquecentesco del mio paese (pericolante, chiuso e vigilato) .. il resto dello spazio, ca va sans dire, era stipato di libri. Ricordarlo mi fa tenerezza; non avevo minimamente pensato di salvare i soldi con cui ricomprare i libri!!!

Se fossi ancora così romantica e così poco pragmatica "L'Orda del Controvento" avrebbe un posto d'onore in quello zaino show less

Dans la même veine que la horde du Contrevent, c'est de la littérature fantastique en français : on en redemande. Ces nouvelles sont plutôt sombres, mais captivantes, les héros touchants et la fin rarement triste.

At the beginning its quite difficult to get into the story (the beginning 30p) on a love story between a university professor and a girl a bit lost, it then enters the heart of the matter: the activities of an extremist revolutionary group. Capitalism exacerbated, citizens with grades, ranking the "merit", social determinism, eugenics ... many themes are about the colony located on a Saturn's sattellite. Earth has been ravaged by biological weapons. This book show more awakens the citizen in you, it makes you sign up for the causes that are important to you, thanks to a free pen, spirited, optimistic. The style is beautiful, superb verbal jousting, bold ideas, icy concepts so topical. Read This! show less

The plot was great, but the level of misogyny was absolutely disgusting.
I would not recommend and we should stop presenting Damasio as one of the great of French Sci-fi... maybe as one of the great of French sexism though...
