Kenneth Prewitt (Census 2000) wrote an interesting chapter.
The vain search for health utopia.
874 Generation of the Third Eye, edited by Daniel Callahan (read 18 Oct 1966) This collection of essays was put together by Callahan, who from 1961 to 1968 was with The Commonweal, and in 1967 became executive editor thereof. I confess I do not remember much about the book.
