Books gives information of folding various forms of each Platonic solid. The directions are very limited but the diagrams are helpful, so a novice at origami can fold them with some trial and error.

My biggest complaint is there is no information on what paper to use, what size of paper to use, or what size the finished product will be.
The book is the work of an expert, and the diagrams are well-designed. But the illustrations are uninspiring.
Book provides the bare minumum of details on how to construct the various polyhedra using modular origami. Some knowledge of origami techniques is necessary to fill in the gaps. Much of the book is focused on buckyballs and not Archimedean solids. In fact, there are really no pure Archimedean solids given in the book. Instead, the authors choose to give folding information for the Catalan duals of the Archimdeans solids.
