This was one of my first cookbooks when I moved out of the house. I know I've made at least one recipe from it - Souper Easy Quiche. It came out yummy. Not sure why I didn't use this more. The formula is simple - choose a soup from a selected list, choose a veggie, a liquid, something else like a meat or garnish, and go. Looking through this now I think I might try another recipe or two.

I actually have the hardback edition with 19,000 recipes, not 10,000 recipes. The hardback one does not show more have the picture with it, though. show less
This was the first cookbook I ever owned. I'm not convinced that I have the edition date right but I doubt that matters. I have a little list in front of everything I cooked from it. I'm thinking I was 11 when I started cooking from it. I was so grownup.

I haven't tasted anything from it since my early teens. The recipes look pretty bilious to me now.
This cookbook provides great recipes that are mostly easy, quick, and inexpensive. Naturally, they all involve Campbell's Soup.

Quick impression: A nice book to look over. A lot of people keep canned soup in the pantry not just to eat in a bowl but for recipes as well. This book has a bit over 100 recipes featuring Campbell's Soup. Many of the recipes are pretty easy to make, plus the book also makes a nice bit of nostalgia reading. This edition is the 75th anniversary edition (published in 1991).

I will post a full review on the blog later.
